COACHINGS

VOCAL COACHING               $70/hour 
Coachings generally held at my studio in Washington Heights.  Coaching covers: running and clarifying audition material; book-building and/or “doctoring”; providing accompaniment onto your mp3 or archaic taping device, etc.  POP/ROCK a specialty.

 

ACTING/VOCAL COACHING COMBO                $125/hour
The ultimate audition prep session!  My wife, casting director Bess Fifer, and I, will help you to get sides and songs into top shape for that big audition or callback, or simply to delve into scene and/or song material that challenges you.  We will take it all into consideration and get you comfortable and living in it! 

 

TRANSCRIPTIONS

I will design a clean copy of your audition piece, customized to your specifications, in your desired key, emailed to you as a PDF file.  I will minimize the amount of pages to make it an easy read for your accompanist and easier on your pocketbook. Most audition-length cuts tend to land between 2 and 3 pages in length.

 

‘AS IS’ TRANSCRIPTION            $25/page, 2-page minimum
From-your-pages-to-mine, with minimal or no  revision to the existing accompaniment.  Your chopped-up, penciled-over, scotch-taped Frankenstein music becomes beautiful and pristine, Voila!

 

ADJUSTED TRANSCRIPTION            $30/page, 2-page minimum
Same as above, except the existing accompaniment is not helping you…. so I “hip" it up for you.  Now your cut is amazing, Job = booked. (Thank me at the Tonys.)

 

CUSTOM ARRANGEMENT                 $100 minimum, estimate provided
Captivated by a particular song, but can’t get hold of the sheet music?  Well, if you can give me an mp3 of it, I will create a custom arrangement for you.  Price and turnaround times vary accordingly.
